Release templates

Attorney-reviewed starting points for common release paperwork.

Voro generates the paperwork a release needs from configurable templates, populated with the information you already entered — collaborators, splits, credits, and metadata. The templates below are reviewed by attorneys as general-purpose starting points.

Templates are configurable starting points, not legal advice. Their suitability depends on your specific situation. Voro is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice — for legal decisions, consult a qualified attorney. See our Terms for details.

Split Sheet

Records master and publishing ownership for every contributor, with roles, PRO, and IPI. Totals are validated to 100% before a release can lock.

Producer Agreement

Sets out the producer's contribution, fee or points, and how master and publishing are shared on the recording.

Work-for-Hire Agreement

Confirms that contributed work is made for hire and ownership transfers to the commissioning party.

Collaboration Agreement

Captures the terms between collaborators on a joint recording — splits, credits, approvals, and release decisions.

Release Packet Summary

A single, exportable overview of the locked release: files, people, splits, documents, and metadata.

Signature Certificate

Documents who signed what and when, attached to the relevant agreement in the packet.

Metadata Sheet

ISRC, UPC, credits, copyright and publishing lines, language, and genre — formatted for handoff to a distributor or label.

How templates work in a release

Required agreements appear as items on the release checklist. A release can't lock until the documents it needs are generated and signed. Once locked, every signed document and a signature certificate are included in the exported release packet.
